Telescopic lift trucks
Telescopic forklifts provide height and versatility. These models are equipped with a pronged lift on an arm that extends over the top of the truck. The crane, or arm, is called a telescopic boom. The boom allows the individual utilizing it to raise the load to great heights while maintaining a high degree of control. Standard forklifts aren't able to move the load towards and away from the forklift cab, while a telescopic forklift allows that movement. The telescopic forklift is normally used in agriculture and construction. It is better for applications where greater lift and control is needed.
In situations needing high volume carton handling, hydraulic attachments known as forklift carton clamp attachments are recommended. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings which allow the operator to use uniform clamping force when lifting a load. It comes with a backrest which protects the cargo from damage.
A slip sheet attachment fits onto a slip sheet forklift. It is utilized for storing systems that don't use pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forks on the forklift. This type of system is handy for overseas shipments and intra-corporate deliveries.
A man basket is a lift platform meant particularly to raise personnel. The basket attaches to the forks on the forklift, held in with a chain or strap that is to be directly secured to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the personnel from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are utilized for fastening the safety harness of the worker.
