Heavy Forklifts
With their new series of heavy forklift trucks, Hyundai is targeting a new customer base. Various businesses, from the concrete and natural stone businesses, to the steel business, the transportation of heavy goods in the ports and the railway sector are all working with and depending on heavy duty equipment. The power and efficiency offered by the models keep cost of operation low and provide the best conditions for economical work. These machines could excel in the nearly all demanding environments.
The Cummins diesel engines ranging from 162 horse-power to 250hp offers the necessary power on all of the large capacity models. TierIII emission standards are met with engines that have 6 cylinders. These models could take the truck up to a speed of 35 km/h. It could climb on steep slopes and rough terrain and also provides great acceleration.
The operator could use a switch in order to select 1 of 2 driving modes. While in "Power" mode, full power is available for work on heavy loads or difficult terrain. In the "STP" mode, the trucks could save a lot of fuel during light-duty work. Moreover, just by pressing a switch, the operator can automatically maintain a selected speed without touching the accelerator pedal. This is an added fuel saving feature. The fully automatic transmission of the forklift gently shifts through the gears, making the machine comfortable to use and easy to maneuver.
A spacious and comfortable working place is offered by a well-ventilated cabin. The cabin combines high performance with fatigue-free work. The powerful heating and air conditioning system helps ensure the operator has a comfortable interior. The cab was ergonomically designed to provide a bird's eye view of all of the controls, adding to the unit's overall safety. A CD player and an MP3 player put the finishing touches on giving the nice atmosphere that Hyundai machines are reputed to have.
