Articulating Booms - Electric and Bi-Energy
The Bi-Energy and Genie DC machines manufactured by Terex provide quiet and emission-free operation in the most sensitive work applications. For instance, in industrial settings where the machine should travel large distances, the Genie bi-energy system combines the flexibility and advantages of a diesel powered generator utilizing a 48 Volt DC machine.
Important characteristics which this combination offers is out, up and over positioning capabilities for complete flexibility. What's more, the zero tail-swing offered by nearly all units, combined with the tight turning radius offers easy maneuvering through narrow aisles and standard doors.
The proportional and drive controls provide the machine with precise boom positioning and smooth drive performance. For emission free and quiet operation suitable for sensitive settings, there is a 48V DC electric drive system. There are jib boom models available to function with an additional working range for specific tasks. On non-jib models, there is a self-leveling platform that rotates to either side at an angle of 90 degrees.
Articulating Booms - Diesel Engine
Genie equipment by Terex are ideal for both outdoor and indoor construction applications. This particular model offers engine-powered articulating Z booms that combine up, out and over positioning capabilities and extreme lifting versatility overall. The outreach provided by this type is the best in the market.
Diesel engine machinery on most modes have an articulating boom which offers zero tail-swing with a small turning radius. These equipment are great in narrow or small places. Additionally, they provide supreme power, exceptional torque and grade and terrain maneuverability. The diesel engines are quiet in general also. The majority of models have full time drive positive drive traction system and active oscillating axle to offer great flexibility on surfaces which are rough and uneven.
High ground clearance is offered in 2 or 4 wheel drive models, whilst the rough terrain models are desirable for any company's fleet. The jib boom types are available and offer added range capabilities. On non-jib models, the self-leveling platform also rotates to ninety degrees on these models too.
